It’s a children’s book, composed of poems written by the author Coralie Randriamanga or Moa’Gasy and illustrated by Loilufy. This is the story of Maharo, a little boy, who is preparing for the celebration of the « Asaramanitra ». Images and words reflect Malagasy culture, such as house decoration, Malagasy crafts, Malagasy meals, lanterns, etc. The author explains that the book wants to remind young people and adults of their childhoods and wants to make today’s children aware of the joy of being Malagasy.
